Home destroyed and unlivable due to hurricane helene

Hello! My name is Alexis and I made this gofundme about two weeks ago for my parents because unfortunately, hurricane helene destroyed their home totaling it and making it unlivable. They were and still are left scrambling trying to figure out where they will now stay and so much else. Initially, I wanted to keep it as anonymous as possible for them because theyre not the type to usually ask for help or want lots of attention but I couldn't just sit back and watch them try to fix this mess on their own. They're the most hardworking and humble people I know. Insurance has been contacted and told them they won't be getting very much considering that the house is a mobile home and almost over 30 years old. As of right now my mom, dad, sister and brother (14 and 10 years old) are essentially homeless. My parents are currently spending so much money on rent to keep a roof over their heads while also still paying the mortgage on our house, food(because they lost everything in the house they're mostly having to eat out so that they don't have to take groceries to and from different living arrangements) and gas to get the kids to and from school and then also to and from work. Meanwhile, they're also trying to figure out how they're going to save for a new house including all new furniture, kitchen appliances etc because most everything was damaged besides clothing. On top of all of that, holiday season is right around the corner. Our family won't have anything close to a normal thanksgiving or Christmas this year. My mom is always full of the holiday spirit so it breaks my heart to know that she won't be able to have a tree, decorate or most importantly wake up in her house on christmas morning to enjoy a day that's supposed to be filled with joy and happiness.
