Backpacking for Books and a Greener Future

This August, my son Ollie and I will be backpacking over 50 miles around the Isle of Wight, following the beautiful circular coastal path, to raise funds for two causes close to our hearts. As many of you know, our school is facing financial challenges and budget cuts. Despite this, we remain committed to looking outward and supporting others, while also caring for our own environment and community.

The school currently has no library, and we’d love to help them convert an old classroom into a library and fill it with books to inspire a love of reading and learning.

The Eco warriors have lots of ideas including creating a mini recycling centre, developing the area outside sunflower room to include a minibeast area and purchasing more litter pickers.
