“Not too long ago, I was at home reading a magazine when I felt the Holy Spirit place something so specific on my heart, a vision for a space that would serve families in a deeper, more intentional way. His words were clear, “Do it fast, do it now” I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but God began to reveal that He had already been stirring this same passion in others for quite some time now. And now, we’re watching Him bring it all together!”
— Crystal Cruz, Pastor’s Wife, Victory Outreach Carson
At Victory Outreach Carson, we believe this is more than an idea, this is a God-led initiative.
And one of the families at the heart of this vision is Edwin and Alejandra, parents to their beautiful daughter Scarlett, who has special needs. Through their journey, they’ve experienced both the beauty and the challenges that come with raising a child with disabilities and God has given them a deep compassion and calling in this area.
Now, as a church, we have the opportunity to come alongside them and build something meaningful together.
That vision is becoming a reality through Holy Drip Café a coffee shop launching out of Victory Outreach Carson.
But this café is more than coffee.
It’s a ministry.
A place where faith meets practical support.
A place where families don’t feel alone.
A place where community is built with intention.
At the center of this mission is something we believe is essential: a special needs resource center. This space will be thoughtfully designed for children with disabilities. It will be a safe, calming, and engaging environment equipped with tools and resources to support a wide range of sensory and developmental needs.
More than just rooms, this space will be a place where children can thrive and where families can find rest, understanding, and support.
As a church, we are raising $15,000 to help bring this vision to life. These funds will go toward:
• Adaptive furniture for sensory needs
• Specialized equipment and tools
• Supplies to support children of various abilities
• Resources to support and encourage parents navigating this journey
Through Holy Drip Café, we will also host:
• Workshops for parents and families on topics like advocacy, IEPs, and IPPs
• Guest speakers and professionals, including BCBA specialists and local community leaders
• Opportunities to build real relationships and lasting support systems
We believe no parent should feel alone in this journey.
We believe every child deserves a space where they are welcomed and understood.
And we believe God can use something as simple as a cup of coffee to create healing, connection, and hope.
If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to partner with us through giving, sharing, prayer, and standing with us in faith.
From our church family to yours, thank you for being a part of what God is building through Holy Drip Café.
