Hollymount Community First Responders - For Defibrillators

Hi My Name is Darren Forde ,the Coordinator of the Hollymount Community First Responders

We Cover 10.5 km Radius from Hollymount Hall or 21 Km Diameter , which takes in: Ballinrobe ,Kilmaine,Claremorris,Carnacon,Kilconnolly & Ballindine,

We Cover Cardiac Chest Pain ,Cardiac Arrests,Strokes, and Chocking,

Reciently we are upskilled to cover numerous other emergency calls such as : Falls,Trauma,Burns,Bleeding,Spinal etc.

We have a Specially trained team of 6 Community CFR, consisting of five 999 Emergency Text Response Nurses & one EMT who will all receive a text from Ambulance Control simultaneously & at the same time the Ambulance receives the local emergency call. We are hoping that one or more of the 999 Responder volunteers will be at the patient well before the ambulance arrives to provide lifesaving support.

All funds will be used to replace 4 old Units & maintenance of the 12 Community Defibrillators, which can cost thousands.

When any AED needs replacement, we Must be in a position to replace it immediately. To do so, your help, support & funds are so important.
