Holly & Lees Marathon for Cancer Research

In honour of my amazing Grandad, Ronald Brian Tomkinson, Lee and I will be running Brighton Marathon 2025.

We are raising money for Cancer Research because in 2019, I made my grandad a promise - I would do a fundraiser every single year for the charity in hope that one day they can find a cure. I have stuck to this promise previously completely a sky dive, half marathon, full marathon & a few different challenges.

Sadly my grandad lost his battle to prostate Cancer on the 23rd October 2023. I didn’t get to give him the medal at the end of Manchester Marathon 2024, like I usually would have. But I did manage to take my total raised to over £10,000.

I know he was with me every step of the way & similarly he will be with both Lee & I every step of the Brighton marathon. His strength always keeps me going.

I hate Cancer more than I hate anything in this world. I want this horrible disease to stop taking our most loved from us.
