Imagine wanting support with nutrition and wellness, but realizing the only options cost hundreds of dollars a month, require insurance you don’t have, or push a weight loss agenda that’s already harmed your body image and sense of self-worth.
Did you know:
- 95% of diets fail, often leaving people worse off mentally and physically
- Two-thirds of dieters regain more weight than they lost
- And meaningful nutrition and emotional well-being support is still largely locked behind paywalls, benefits, or expensive one-on-one care
The Full Plate is part of a growing movement of people who believe healing shouldn’t be a privilege to access or something you lose the moment your circumstances change.
OUR MISSION
The Full Plate exists to help people heal their relationship with food without shame, restriction, or financial barriers.
We are an online, counselor-led intuitive eating community for people who are fed up with fad diets and tired of feeling out of control around food.
Inside the community, members learn to manage stress eating, reconnect with hunger and fullness cues, learn body respect, and cut through the misinformation online to pursue health and well-being without restriction, tracking, or guilt.
WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT
At The Full Plate, we believe healing your relationship with food starts with trust, not control.
Trust in your body’s signals. Trust that health is more than a number on a scale. Trust that lasting change doesn’t come from body shaming, tracking calories, or restrictive diets.
It’s why we don’t center weight loss as a measure of success because focusing on it often undermines the very habits that support long-term health.
It’s why we don’t separate nutrition advice from real life, including busy schedules, caregiving, work demands, and burnout.
At The Full Plate, health is about nourishment, sustainability, and belonging.
HOW ACCESS WORKS
The Full Plate is built on an access-first model. We offer:
- A free tier, which includes a robust resource library, daily content, group chats, social meetups with other members, and a referral network of vetted healthcare providers with deep expertise in intuitive eating and other fields
- A $29/month premium tier, which includes all of the above plus live, expert-led workshops, a structured curriculum, book clubs, ask-me-anything opportunities, and DM support.
There is no other nutrition community offering this combination of access, integration, and belonging at scale.
PROOF THIS WORKS
Since launching our free tier, the community has grown by over 300 percent, and thousands of people have engaged with our resources. Hear from some of our members:
“I’m fighting a cold this week, and I’m taking a break from exercising to allow my body to rest. In the past, I would have pushed through no matter what just to meet my goal.”
“I’ve come to accept that it’s just natural for my brain to turn to food as a solution for basically everything…and it’s my job to take a moment and figure out what else might be going on. It’s almost never actual hunger!”
“This group is so welcoming, non-judgmental and kind. We’re all in this together and that feeling really comes through.”
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
The Full Plate was founded by Aimee Gindin, a certified intuitive eating counselor, certified nutrition coach, and former mental health clinician.
For years, Aimee worked in high-achieving environments, while privately negotiating food rules, criticizing her body, and doing the constant mental math of tracking every bite.
She fell victim to a system that teaches people (especially women) to fix their bodies instead of take up space.
Discovering intuitive eating transformed her relationship with food. Eating became calmer and more joyful. Her body became something to respect. Energy and attention came back online.
What became clear next was this: learning intuitive eating alone is hard, and access to ongoing support is still a privilege.
WHAT YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAKES POSSIBLE
Your contribution doesn’t just fund a program. It helps unlock care, stability, and belonging for people who have been priced out of healing. Here’s how:
- $1,000+: Sustains a full month of community care, including live programming, moderated spaces, ongoing education, and the small team that keeps The Full Plate welcoming and active for our members
- $500: Expands access beyond the community through speaking, education, and outreach, helping more people unlearn harmful diet messages and discover a more sustainable relationship with food
- $290: Gifts one person a full year of premium membership, which includes live workshops, a guided curriculum, and 1:1 DM support with a counselor
- $150: Brings one live community workshop to life, creating a space where dozens of people learn practical tools on topics like emotional eating, hunger cues, and body respect
- $87: Provides 3 months of premium membership for someone struggling with food and body image without insurance or disposable income
- $29: Gives someone without access to care a one-month premium membership scholarship
Every contribution, large or small, helps keep this community accessible to those who need it most.
THE ASK
Our goal is to raise $30,000 by April 30th, 2026. Hitting this goal allows us to keep the free tier open, expand our reach, and subsidize $29/mo memberships to 100 individuals in need through the end of 2026.
Help us keep The Full Plate full for everyone.*
