HOLIDAY TOYS FOR CHILDREN OF INCARCERATED PEOPLE

Access MA and its From Liabilities to Contributors Initiative held an amazing holiday toy giveaway to families in Roxbury at Academy Estates on December 17, supported by very generous private donors and sponsors.

We now need to raise money to buy and deliver toys for 85 children of people incarcerated in Massachusetts Prisons. The children live throughout Massachusetts and range in age from 4 months to 17. The children certainly miss their parent - we don't want them to miss the holiday!

Our From Liabilities to Contributors volunteers are formerly incarcerated men and women who are working hard to support the community. They know how difficult it is for parents and children to be separated, especially during the holidays, and are devoting their time to bring joy to children.

The funds will be used to purchase toys and to offset the cost, especially gasoline, of delivering toys throughout the state.
