Holiday Toy Drive for Hour Children

The Holidays are a particularly difficult time for children whose parents are incarcerated. Many incarcerated mothers do not have resources to get gifts for their children. Each year your contribution helps provide what is often the only gift a child with an incarcerated parent will receive.

Hour children, children's center at Taconic Correctional serves 450 children at their on-site facility, providing toys, snacks and necessities to facilitate visits in the center between children and their incarcerated mothers.

$25 provides one child with a holiday gift

$50 provides two children with holiday gifts

$100 provides four children with holiday gifts

$200 provides eight children with holiday gifts

Because of restrictions and limitations on what gifts can be given and received inside of the correctional facility we are raising money to purchase and wrap the gifts to be delivered before the Holiday season. We are working with local toy and book stores such as G.E. Wilikers, Hip Kid, All Together Now Kids, Scattered Books and The Katonah Reading Room to purchase these gifts.
