Holiday Soldier Boxes

Donation protected
For the past 6 years our family has been lucky enough to be a part of the “300 Boodle Brigade” which has helped send thousands of boxes overseas to the men and women who fight for our freedom during the holiday season. This year our Jake will be spending his Christmas in Afghanistan where he and his platoon have spent the past several months. We are looking to send 75+ boxes to him, his platoon, and the rest of Alpha Battery, 2-12FA in order to make their holiday season a little brighter. The cost to fill and ship one box is $55 ($37.60 in goodies + $17.40 flat rate shipping). The process after raising money includes baking, shopping, wrapping, and packing these boxes to get them sent off by the first week of December in order to reach our soldiers by Christmas. Although we are wishing we could have our boy home for the holidays, as many are experiencing this year, we are so excited to see our project unfold in a way not possible before. We will be sure to keep everyone posted with pictures and updates along the way. Please consider donating to this amazing cause that will bring light to the season and remind these amazing men and women that they are appreciated and being thought of. We encourage you to donate any amount, you can sponsor 1/2 a box, 1 box, more than 1, or even just contribute a few dollars, any amount will make a difference. God bless you all and have a very safe and joyous holiday season!!!

My name is Anna and my brother Jake graduated to West Point a few years back. My mom got involved with a group of people through West Point called the “300 Boodle Brigade” who started by sending 300 holiday boxes overseas for the holidays one year. It now has turned into a nationwide project that we are lucky enough to be apart of, sending now thousands of boxes each year.
In past years it has been random groups we were assigned and we filled the boxes with what we thought soldiers needed. This year is extra special as we will be sending these boxes to family (my brother Jake) along with the soldiers he is working alongside with.
My mom is handling all the funds, although my family all pitches in to help with shopping, she’s swiping the card.
Our boxes this year are filled with some home goodies like Bertucco’s bakery sweets, and Farmer Stans kettle corn, along with requested snacks, holiday cheer and decorations, personal items, and the most important thing, good coffee. We are able to stuff a lot of things, both fun and useful, into these boxes, and often they are more round than square by the time they are packed. We are so blessed for the outpouring support we get every year and could not be more thankful for you all.
