Hey everyone!
I'm writing today to see if you would be willing to spare a few dollars in support of my friend Kaleulloseu this holiday season.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to spend a month visiting Child-Hope Field of Dreams, a foundation and home for abandoned, orphaned, and homeless boys in the Tugbok District of Davao City, Philippines. While there, my fellow volunteers and I developed bonds with the boys and staff that we maintain to this day.
Field of Dreams offers the boys a chance to learn and develop skills that are invaluable to them building their independence and futures. It gives them a place to grow and express themselves artistically. They cook, garden, put on talent shows. They play in bands and dance and read. It really is an amazing place with a strong sense of pride in the community they sustain with hard work and love.
This is where I met Kaleulloseu in 2019. Thanks to the skills fostered at F.O.D, he since graduated, got a job, and has been working to build his own place. But wages are low, so it takes time, and he has been staying with family until he can reach his goal.
Unfortunately, Kaluelloseu was recently involved in an accident with a company vehicle, for which he was found not at fault. Despite this, his company let him go because of the property damage. He is currently in need of money to help him cover his living expenses this month as he continues to apply for new work. It's also approaching Christmas, which is a very important holiday in the Philippines, just as it is here in the States. I hope you will consider making a donation in any amount to help him get through this time.
Thank you!

Today's fundraising effort is directly for Kaleulloseu to help during this holiday season, but F.O.D's needs are on-going. If you would like to donate to them as well, you can message me directly!
