We are facilitating the 2nd Annual Tijuana Orphanage Christmas Project for Casa Hogar Sion in Tijuana.
With an abundance of generosity from many of you last year we were able to deliver 6 wrapped gifts each to over 80 children and their leaders at Casa Hogar Sion. Gifts included a new pair of shoes, new clothes, every child received at least one book in Spanish and 2-3 toys. As we watched the kids unwrap their gifts smiles and laughter were on display around the room. We witnessed tears of joy and gratitude on a few of the teens' faces when they unwrapped items for which they had been specifically hoping. It was a magical day that we will always remember.
We are asking for your support again this holiday season. We have had an overwhelming response so far this year and are asking for your continued support to hit our goal of providing each child with 5-6 new gifts that will include a new pair of shoes, clothing and 2-3 items from their wish lists that each of them have put together. In addition we will provide all of the orphanage leaders with gifts, host a holiday lunch for the entire orphanage and hopefully have enough funds raised to present the orphanage with a gift that will be useful for the entire organization.
All monetary donations will be used to shop for gifts and/or be donated directly to the orphanage for items they dearly need.
