We've been providing direct aid to the Bayview since 2020 during the height of the COVID crisis. But the crisis of hunger and need continues in the Bayview. Our all volunteer team with deep roots in the Bayview San Francisco provides direct aid to those who need it most.

Since 2020 and the outbreak of the COVID crisis, we have organized food aid for Bayview residents. The crisis has not abated in the Bayview - in fact, the disparities in poverty and food insecurity are only worse now than before the pandemic. People are now reporting more job losses and unemployment and underemployment than since the height of the pandemic.

The COVID-19 outbreak wreaked havoc throughout the country and the world, especially in vulnerable, underserved communities. Across the country we began to see that marginalized communities - particularly Black communities - were suffering the most. The dissemination of supplies, the ability to remain at home, critical survival aid - even life-saving information - often did not reach underserved communities.

As a result, Wealth and Disparities in the Black Community sprang into action. It is essential that we ensure our neighbors do not go hungry. We are raising money to provide holiday food bags and cash for the Bayview San Francisco - especially for seniors and the area's most vulnerable residents. Please join us in our efforts by donating to provide life-saving, high quality staples to our Bayview neighbors.

Wealth and Disparities in the Black Community's all volunteer team has been working in the Bayview since 2015. When you give to #WDBC, you know that you are helping our San Francisco neighbors who are most in need. We have several years of crisis relief activity in the neighborhood under our belts:
