Holiday Farm Fire Relief for Families
Donation protected
On Labor Day, a deadly fire broke out in Rainbow, Oregon and quickly swept through the towns of Blue River and Vida displacing many people as a high percentage of homes in the region were either damaged or destroyed. As teachers at McKenzie River Community School, my wife and I would like to find a way to help those we know that are in need of monetary assistance. Our goal is to help out families and we plan on giving a family a $1000 to help in their recovery effort. If we are able to raise more than $1000, we plan to donate to as many families as we can. We already know of at least 10 friends or more who have lost their homes, so it will be easy to spread the love around. We just ask for your trust that this money will be distributed to those in need as we do not plan to take any funds for ourselves. We appreciate the support in helping an amazing community get on the road to recovery.
