MCVP Family Fund for Holidays

Tax deductible

Every year, all year long, the Community Council at the Antioch Campus in Keene, where I proudly work,  holds bake sales, contests, soup kitchens, fun contests, and a WinterFest craft fair and Luncheon to raise money for this non-profit in our community.  We are staff and students, faculty and administration who have been unable to be in community, to work together and raise money together.

Want to join us this year without baking? We are raising money to benefit Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention Inc (MCVP) so they can help make the holiday season special for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking and human sex-trafficking. Each year, our community comes together in a big way for survivors and even though we are in an unpredictable time with COVID, MCVP is  moving forward with their annual Holiday Families program.

Megan Fulton, MCVP Development Director, spoke to us at our last Community Council meeting and pointed out that the need for funds is still high.  Some victims are unable to remove themselves from their situations due to Covid. Some aren't looking for gifts, but necessary supplies for their children and babies.

We will run this fundraiser from now until November 20th and hope to exceed last year's fundraiser and have set a $2,000 goal!

So don't be SCARED, and share the LOVE, so everyone can feel safe this WINTER and beyond.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and those I work with.
