Holiday Cheer for DePriest Elementary School

This year the employees of the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund have connected with Oscar DePriest Elementary School.

DePriest has about 450 students and the school committed to developing lifelong learners who respect themselves and others, while contributing to their learning community, and the world.

About 93% of their students are low income, and 8% of their students are experiencing homelessness. Many families struggle to afford holiday gifts for their children.

We are hoping to supply gifts for about 45 pre-K students ages 3-4 this year, and plan to distribute special treats delivered personally by Santa.
