Horizons After School is more than a program — it’s a community builder for so many children in our neighborhood.

Every afternoon, when the school day ends, Horizons staff step in as mentors, tutors, role models, and steady sources of encouragement. They help children with homework, build confidence, provide structure, and create a safe, joyful place to learn and grow.

This GoFundMe has been created specifically to provide a Holiday Bonus for the Horizons After School staff — the drivers, counselors, and caregivers who show up consistently for our kids, day after day.

All funds raised will be distributed directly to staff as Amazon gift cards, with amounts prorated based on the number of hours each staff member works per week. There are currently 2 full time staff and 8 part-time staff at Horizons. This is a simple way for our community to say thank you and offer a meaningful gesture of appreciation during the holiday season.
