Holcomb Valley Rebolting Project

Over the last 10 years we have spent time, money, and energy building the trail to the crags and replacing anchors and bolts.  They have since been worn down from use and one again need to be replaced.  The ASCA has donated anchors, bolts, hangers, chains, and rock drill bits (all 1/2 inch).  This was very generous of them and it is greatly appreciated.  Now we have the duty of taking the time and effort to do the work. However, we are still in need of static line, metal drill bits, and a way to charge our drills.  We plan to camp up in Big Bear for the summer, but we will need to have electricity.  So, we would like to stay at a campground where we will have a few comforts and electricity for our 6-8 week stay.   Many Southern California climbers and Holcomb Valley Pinnacles regulars have expressed interest in helping us in several ways, including monetarily.  If you feel called to make a donation to this effort, we assure you we will be very transparent in where the funds go AND we assure you we are using bolts and hangers that have an approximate 50 year lifespan.
