To create hope for a better future in Gaza

Update per 03.01.2025:
I would like to thank everyone who contributed by donating, sharing, or offering kind words and support to me and my family. Your help means a lot to them and has been a lifeline.
I would like to withdraw an amount of money to buy basic needs and food but the transfer fees are very high, reaching 36%. This situation complicates our efforts.

I also need some money to buy clothes, shoes and some supplies for my family because we have just entered winter and the weather is getting colder and the situation is getting worse.

Because of the famine, for more than a month there have been no vegetables or fruits, even bread. We get it with difficulty due to the high cost of flour, and we only find spoiled flour.
And the prices are very high. Merchants raise prices like crazy, and we cannot provide for all our needs, but with your support I can provide these things. Even simple things cost 10 times the normal price. For example, one onion costs $20. I need to provide things to keep my family on track. Alive, I hope we will soon reach our goal of urgent evacuation from Gaza.

We ask everyone to donate when the donation is renewed again, even if it is a small amount. Share this campaign with everyone who can help, any small amount can make a big difference
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
Kr, Wedad

Dear all,
Sad news from my niece Wedad - her father passed away from heart failure due to the circumstances of the war.... I will let her describe it in her own words:
This is my dear father. Since the beginning of the war, he has suffered from shortness of breath due to airstrikes and internationally prohibited white phosphorus. He endured nine months of war, and then all his respiratory arteries became blocked. He went to the hospital hoping to receive a nebulizer or a respirator, but there was no such thing as a hospital—there was no electricity. He was struggling to breathe and urgently needed intensive care to check his vital functions and improve his oxygen levels. Due to the large number of wounded and martyrs, we couldn't find a bed or a place for him, and we couldn't even find a doctor to explain his critical condition.

My father was left until his last breath. A doctor finally came, but unfortunately, it was too late. He said we lost the patient due to poor facilities. My father was killed in cold blood, and we will neither forgive nor forget. My beloved father, rest and sleep peacefully. You are in a better place than this world....

Hello,
my name is Eyad. I have created this fundraiser to help and save what remains of my family in Gaza—my sister and her family, which includes her husband Hani and their three sons: Said (25), an interior designer whose work has been destroyed; Ahmed vitch (24), whose ambitions were shattered when his PlayStation store was destroyed; and Mohamed (20), a student whose university and future have been devastated.

My sister also has two daughters, Reem and Wedad, who are facing severe hardships.
Since October 7th, my sister's family has been displaced five times, moving from one unsafe location to another. They fled their home, moved to their daughter's home, then to another less safe home, and finally ended up in a small tent, sleeping on the sand.
Wedad shares, "I hope this message finds you well. I am speaking from the heart of Gaza, where I grew up and have cherished the memories of my entire life, all of which have been demolished in this war. I am writing this letter with a heavy heart, filled with sadness and fatigue over the devastation caused by this terrible war. I experienced a traumatic event when our house was bombed, resulting in the death of my husband’s parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Miraculously, my husband survived but suffered a severe foot injury that requires him to use crutches, rendering him immobile.

I cannot bear the thought of losing more loved ones and desperately need my family by my side during this ordeal. Their struggles are beyond words, living in fear, hunger, and makeshift tents. Additionally, my sister suffers from diabetes and her husband had a heart attack. Both struggle to find their medication, significantly affecting their health.

The family is suffering from a lack of food. If food is found, it is cooked on firewood, which is unhealthy and tastes bad.

They also lack healthy drinking water, causing severe stomach pain and resulting in Said becoming infected with hepatitis A. The conditions imposed by the occupation and siege, combined with the lack of resources, have made their situation dire. The period of displacement has been during the winter, and the tent is not safe when it rains, allowing water to seep in. Now, after more than 200 days of the war, the weather has turned hot, and the tent, made of thermal plastic, has become unbearably hot like a greenhouse.

My family doesn’t deserve this pain and suffering. Our daily lives are marked by fear and uncertainty, making our future seem bleak. Every one of them had dreams of a beautiful, quiet life in Gaza with big plans for their future. The war deprived them of that.
Your donation and sharing will help them greatly to rebuild their lives, provide necessary protection, and meet their basic needs for food, clean water, and medical treatment.

The required amount to evacuate my family is €50,000, distributed as follows:
€40,000 for the services of Hala company to coordinate the exit from Gaza to Egypt.
€10,000 to cover rent, medical, and living expenses, including fees for the GOFUNDME campaign.
Your generosity won’t just help us leave Gaza but also pave the way for a better future. Your support will make a significant difference in our lives during these challenging times.
I have attached pictures of their sons, the destroyed home, and the tent where the family currently resides. To communicate directly with Wedad, you can follow her Instagram account @dodoo_murtaja.
Thank you for your support, for reading our story, and for helping us through this difficult time.
Kr, Eyad
