We are in the midst of a life changing journey! We are a family of five, David, Lindsay, Elliot, Greyson and Quillen, who just relocated to rural Michigan to plant a church! We have always wanted a big family and have even discussed adoption multiple times. It wasn't until recently, upon seeing a specific child from Ethiopia (we are not allowed to share any information about him online yet), that we felt estranged from our own child. What a strange feeling that is! It's crippling! And now we are on a mission to bring him home. 

This boy is quickly approaching the age in which Ethiopia will not allow him to be adopted any longer. If this happens- he will have lived his whole life in a government orphanage having never had a family dinner, a mother's embrace, or a father's loving approval. Our hearts ache for this boy- and we can't let that happen. Scripture is clear- that as Christians we must "Defend the cause of the fatherless..." Isaiah 1:17, and Christ said "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18

God has convicted our hearts to help this child and we need your help! If 1,000 people skip one $30 meal out to dinner, they could change this child's life forever.
