Hodgkins Lymphoma stage IV b

Hello Everyone, It is with great difficulty that we tell you just this past October 2018 we learned that our sweet David was diagnosed with stage 3/4B Hodgkins Lymphoma Disease, a form of cancer.

For those of you who don't know, Lymphoma occurs when abnormal white blood cells (lymphocytes) over-multiply and overwhelm the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. In David's situation, the cancer cells have gone outside of the lymphnodes and spread to other organs of his body putting him in a critical position.

Currently David is couragously in the process of undergoing 12 rounds of chemotherapy with radiation. He has gotten through 4 rounds and he will receive a new PET scan in January of 2019, a process where through radiation doctors are able to see how his body responds to chemotherapy. We remain hopeful that the chemo is working.

David, with his wife, Cecilia, is a loving father of five boys. Taurin 16, Cyrek 14, Daniel 5, David 3 and Darius 1 and half. As well as two step children Ivan 16 and Stephanie 18. At this point in his chemotherapy he is unable to work due to the effects of the illness and difficult process of chemo and radiation. We are reaching out for any help anyone can give at this time. With a large family and many hospital and treatment bills, by January David will have exhausted his funds and will need all the help he can get to continue receiving medical help and taking care of his family. He is doing his best to stay strong mentally and physically while enduring this unexpected illness.

We appreciate any help anyone can offer. We again remain hopeful for David. We are all doing our best to stay strong and we thank you for your thoughts and prayers as they are just as necessary for his recovery. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
