Hello everyone,

You all have been contacted because of the critical position of our beloved Aunt Gir. As you all are aware, she has cancer and will need round the clock care, medical treatment as well as basic essentials. My mum ( Aunt Isa) has been caring for her and has taken on the majority of the financial care. She cannot maintain the upkeep of these expenses on her own, and her mental health is being affected. She is in her 70’s and needs to take care of herself as well.

Just want to say a big thank you to Cheri for staying with Aunt Gir and helping with the care. Your help and support has been greatly appreciated.

I know that present times are difficult financially, but feel if everyone gives what they can, the burden carried by one will be lighter.

The plan is to set up a Go Fund account where monthly monetary contributions will be deposited. The fund money with then pay for food, treatment, what ever is needed. Everyone will be updated as to how the money is spent and Aunt Gir’s general well being.

I do hope you will come onboard with this. I have fond memories of Aunt Gir as I’m sure all of you do too. Her laughter has always been infectious. She has always been there for us, hoping we all can be there for her too.

Adrian is setting up the Go fund account to help with the expenses until we can find an alternative solution to helping Aunt Gir.
