Universidad Simon Bolivar has been attending the Harvard National Model United Nations since 1997. It has been a tradition of excellence and prestige for the university, being the most awarded student group with 130 individual awards and 4 Best International Delegation awards. Our dream is to travel this year and retrieve our fifth prize in Harvard, but the economic situation in the country has made this dream look extremely hard to achieve.

Venezuela is suffering from the highest inflation rate in its history, with 400 BSF per dollar in the black market. The amount of dollars granted for travel purposes was lowered this year from 3000 $ to 700$. That means we only have 700$ at the official exchange rate (12 BSF per dollar) to cover plane tickets plus all our travel expenses to Boston.

USB-HNMUN has helped hundreds of students to thrive. It has granted abilities in negotiation, public speaking, and knowledge of the plethora of issues affecting our present world to individuals that have used these tools to build brilliant futures. Ex USB-HNMUN students have moved on to study at Harvard and MIT, create world-class companies, and become true leaders. This year's group of students has an amazing potential that can only be truly tested if we achieve our goal of traveling to Boston.

With your help, this dream can come true. Donate and you will be a part of achieving our fifth Best International Delegation Award!
