Hello everyone, my name is Daniela, and I am seeking assistance to support my friend.

My friend’s name is Luis Castro, and he was detained by ICE on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Luis was attending his scheduled appointment at the immigration office when he was detained by ICE agents inside. He was processed near the end of the day on July 15th and placed in the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, Texas.

As of today, July 17, 2025, Luis is still being held at the Montgomery Detention Center. Luis is all his mother has, as well as she is all he has, so we would love to bring him home soon and safely.

Luis is a wonderful son and an amazing friend to those he’s close to. He is only 19 years old, a respectful, caring, and supportive person, a very hard worker at his job, and only looking to better his future and his mom’s. He has no issues with anyone and holds no criminal record. He has known the United States longer than he has known Honduras, and holds no support systems there.

He has a lawyer, and the money being raised is to pay his lawyer and the bond. We are hopeful for the best due process we can offer to him.

Anything will help and will be appreciated. No amount is too small, and even just a share of his story would be appreciated.

Mi amigo se llama Luis Castro, y fue detenido por ICE el Martes 15 de Julio del 2025. Luis atendia su cita de immigracion cuando fue detenido por agentes de ICE dentro de la oficina de immigracion. El fue procesado cerca del final del día el 15 de Julio y llevado al Centro de Procesamiento de Montgomery en Conroe, Texas.

A fecha de hoy, 17 de Julio del 2025, Luis sigue detenido en el Centro de Procesamiento de Montgomery en Conroe, Texas. Luis es todo lo que su mama tiene, y ella es todo lo que el tiene, así que deseamos traerlo a casa pronto y seguro.

Luis es un maravilloso hijo y un grandioso amigo hacia aquelos que son cercanos a el. El solo tiene 19 años, es respetuoso, cariñoso, y comprensivo, un excelente trabajado, y solo quiere un mejor futuro para si mismo y para su madre. Nunca a tenido problemas con nadie y no tiene ningun tipo de antecedente criminal. El conoce los Estados Unidos por mas tiempo de lo que ha conocido Honduras, y no tendria un sistema de soporte alli.

Tiene un abogado, y el dinero recaudado sera para pagarle y tambien para pagar su fianza. Esperamos el mejor debido proceso para el.

Cualquier tipo de ayuda sera agradecida. Ninguna cantida es muy pequeña, y asi sea solo compartir su historia sera apreciado.
