In Memory of Danny

Hi My name is Bob Cohen, and i am fundraising for Danny Bliss.

On October 26, 2025, at around 11 PM, our dear friend Danny was tragically killed by a drunk driver in Bellmore, NY.

Danny was more than a friend — he was a brother to many and a proud member of American Legion Post 1082 in East Meadow, New York. He touched countless lives with his kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor.

He leaves behind a large circle of loving friends and family, and most heartbreakingly, his beautiful fiancée Raquel Velez.

Unfortunately, Danny did not have any savings, life insurance, or investments to help cover expenses. Raquel is now facing rent, insurance, and other bills on her own during this incredibly painful time.

I am organizing this fundraiser to help Raquel with immediate financial relief so she can grieve and begin to move forward without added financial stress.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated.
