Kenya Mission Team

Hello! My name is Sophie and in July I have the privilege of joining 6 lovely girls on a team travelling to Kenya this summer.

Whilst we are in Kenya we will be helping/supporting women and teenage girls who have come from or are living in vulnerable situations. We will be volunteering at a centre that aims to empower young ladies through scripture and education, rescuing them from early child marriage and FGM. The centre also helps to reconcile the girls back to their families and societies after traumatic cultural experiences.

This year we will also be running a respite week for families that have children with Special Educational Needs. I would appreciate your prayer for safety and the women/families that we will be alongside. That the Lord would touch their hearts and we would see His power move in Kenya.

Any support would be hugely appreciated.
