We are ED Robotics – a team from Jönköping representing Sweden in FRC.
We build advanced robots to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) — the world’s largest international robotics competition for young people.
In FRC, students have only 6–8 intense weeks to:
- design and build a 50-kilogram robot from scratch
- program and test advanced systems
- work as a team alongside mentors from industry
In 2024, we were the only Swedish team to compete internationally.
Why we need your support
Participating in FRC comes with significant costs. Funds raised will be used for:
- competition registration fees
- materials and components for the robot
- travel and accommodation for students and mentors
- tools and safety equipment
Our goal is to raise 200,000 SEK in order to complete the season in a safe and professional way.
All students participate voluntarily and dedicate hundreds of hours to this project alongside their studies.
Why ED Robotics matters
ED Robotics is about much more than robots.
Through the team, students gain:
- hands-on experience in engineering, programming, and design
- training in teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving
- opportunities to meet role models in technology and engineering
- confidence to pursue technical education and careers
For many students, this is the first time they see how technology is applied in real-world projects.
How you can help
Every contribution makes a difference:
- 100 SEK helps fund materials and spare parts
- 500 SEK supports tools and testing equipment
- 1,000 SEK or more helps bring Sweden to the international stage
If you are unable to contribute financially, you are warmly welcome to share our campaign.
Thank you for your support!
By supporting ED Robotics, you help young people develop technical skills, confidence, and the courage to take part in shaping tomorrow’s society.
Thank you for making this possible.
