Historic Lincoln Heights Emergency Fund

The Mill Fire on 9/2/2022 destroyed many homes on nine of ten streets (Railroad, Tent, Crestmore, Grant, Cypress, Lincoln, Wakefield, Church, Alameda, Kennedy) that comprised the predominately and historically Black neighborhood of Lincoln Heights, Weed, California. Many residents were renters or generational owners with little to no insurance. These funds will help burned-out residents who physically lived on Railroad, Tent, Crestmore, Grant, Cypress, Lincoln, Wakefield, Church, and Alameda at the time of the fire. It will directly support residents who lost their place to live and possessions as clean-up, and the rebuilding process begins.
