History of Greenmont Mural

Help preserve Morgantown’s past by supporting the installation of our neighborhood’s “History of Greenmont” mural. Native Morgantown artist Jessie Haring will design and create this pictorial history with iconic symbols, businesses and figures reminiscent of Greenmont’s past. Jessie is known for her art at The Grind, Genes Beer Garden and The Apothecary. As Morgantown’s oldest neighborhood, Greenmont residents provided the labor that built and shaped the city of Morgantown.

Donations will compensate Jessie’s work and pay for paint and supplies. Names of donors of $50 or more will be creatively included into the details of the mural, while larger donors of $350 or more will get a more prominent space. Donate today and pay tribute to Greenmont and the men and women that helped make Morgantown what it is today.
