Historic Grafton School

We are raising money to have the asbestos and mold abated from the Historic Grafton School.

We have done everything we can to this point and cannot move any further until the asbestos and mold is abated. The funds being raised  will allow us to overcome the wall we are up against.

We have already:
--repaired the roofs
--electric is being repaired where there is no asbestos or mold.
--heat is being addressed
--rooms have been emptied
however the project is halted because of the asbestos and mold.

The Old Grafton School initiative was born out of the desire to revitalize a discarded gem in the village of Grafton.  So many people have fond memories of this school.  Passion for this school is enduring. On a daily basis this project is encouraged by members of the the community with fond memories of their time as a student at the Grafton school.

When finished the Old Grafton School will house:
--Community Theater
--Community Events
--Music Events ( seating 345)
--Soldiers of History Museum (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8ztjkZimlk&t=450s)
--artist studios
--Historic Association of Grafton
--Carlisle History Association
--host monthly Community Movies
--Model Train 
to mention only a few of the many organizations that are interested in space.
