My Story & Why I Started This GoFundMe

Hello everyone,

My name is [Terrell SWINDELL], and I’ve always been passionate about art, culture, and creating spaces where people can come together. I started this GoFundMe because I want to organize a major community event that will showcase talented artists, live performances, cultural vendors, clothing brands, and fun giveaways for kids and families.

This event isn’t just about entertainment—it’s about giving artists a real platform where they can be seen, celebrated, and paid fairly for their work. I also want to highlight diverse cultural vendors, especially mochi culture and streetwear/clothing vendors, so we can bring something unique and meaningful to the community.

I’m asking for $60,000 to bring this vision to life. The funds will go toward:

Paying artists and performers

Securing a venue and equipment

Supporting cultural and clothing vendors

Providing free giveaways for kids and families

Purchasing merchandise inventory so I can build my brand and continue supporting the community long-term

I recently had to leave my job due to a hostile and underwhelming work environment, which left me without the resources to fund this on my own. But I refuse to give up on this dream. With your support, we can make this event possible and give back to the community in a big way.
