Hindu Temple Exterior Restoration (Eagle Project)

Hello, my name is Arhan Aggarwal. I am a Boy Scout, and a part of Troop 484 here in Bakersfield, CA. For my Eagle Project, I have chosen to help restore the exterior of the Hindu Temple of Kern County. The Hindu Temple has been having ongoing renovations and restorations throughout the year, a large part occurring this summer as a fellow scout just recently completed a series of large projects inside the temple. For my project, we will be repainting the steel fence that covers the perimeter of the temple (1000+ linear ft.), as it has not been repainted since it was installed in 2002, along with this we will be replacing the bunches of bushes/plants surrounding these fences. The Hindu Temple has been a place I have personally seen evolve over the past several years, and it means a lot that I can help contribute to this evolution. For this project to be successful we will need to fundraise close to $11,000 to cover costs for 118 gallons of paint, as well as tools, brushes, plants, and gardening tools. Thank you for the support!
