Hillsborough Urban Gardens

We are fundraising for Hillsborough Urban Gardens!  An effort that we hope will strengthen community through growing and sharing our own food in Hillsborough, North Carolina. We have two sites along our beloved Riverwalk, and currently 50+ potential volunteers who have expressed an interest in helping to establish these gardens. We raised our initial goal of $1500 in just under two weeks! this will go towards compost, fencing and our 501((c)(3) apllication. We have raised enough to get started, but we have identified more needs as things have progressed. Any additional funds we can raise will go towards securing sustainable water access, our web presence, supplimenting donated seeds and starts, and first aid kits for each site for work days. Anything you can pitch in to help would be greatly appreciated. Please help us grow!
