Januar 2026 friedlich von dieser Welt gegangen ist. Seine Mutter, die aus Peru angereist ist und seine Frau waren an seiner Seite und konnten sich in liebe von ihm verabschieden.

Freddy war ein außergewöhnlicher Mensch – unglaublich aktiv, freiheitsliebend und voller Lebensenergie. Sein Humor hat selbst in den schwersten Momenten Licht geschenkt, und seine Freundlichkeit gegenüber jedem, der ihm begegnete, war tief und echt.

Sein Tod hinterlässt eine unermessliche Leere. Besonders schmerzhaft ist, dass seine kleine Tochter ihren wunderbaren Vater nicht wirklich kennenlernen darf – nur durch die Erinnerungen derjenigen, die ihn geliebt haben, wird sie ihm nahe sein können.

Nun steht seine Familie – seine Frau und seine Mutter – vor einer besonders schweren Zeit. Neben der Trauer kommen große organisatorische und finanzielle Herausforderungen auf sie zu. Deshalb führen wir diese Spendenkampagne mit einem neuen Ziel fort: Unterstützung für Freddys Beerdigung sowie finanzielle Hilfe für seine Mutter und sein Baby.

His mother, who had traveled all the way from Peru, and his wife were by his side and were able to say their goodbyes in love.

Freddy was an extraordinary person – incredibly active, freedom-loving, and full of life. His humor brought light even in the darkest moments, and his kindness toward everyone he met was deep and genuine.

His passing leaves an immeasurable void. What is especially heartbreaking is that his little daughter will not be able to truly know her wonderful father – she will only be able to meet him through the memories of those who loved him.

Im September 2024 wurde die kleine Liana geboren, ein lange ersehntes, wunderschönes Baby, das das junge Paar überglücklich machte. Doch nur wenige Wochen später, im November 2024, veränderte eine Diagnose ihr Leben radikal: dedifferenziertes Chondrosarkom G3. Ein bösartiger, aggressiver Tumor, der seitdem das Leben des jungen Vaters bedroht und die Familie von einem Tag auf den anderen in einen existenziellen Ausnahmezustand stürzte.

Seit Monaten kämpft diese Familie um Gesundheit, Hoffnung und schlicht ums Überleben. Sie tun alles, was in ihrer Macht steht, doch die Belastung, der sie ausgesetzt sind, ist unvorstellbar.

Ein Leben zwischen Krankenhäusern, Angst und Verantwortungsgefühl

Die Behandlungen finden überwiegend an der Universitätsklinik Tübingen statt. Für die Familie bedeutet das endlose Fahrten zwischen Berlin und Tübingen, immer mit dem kleinen Baby im Gepäck, immer in Sorge, immer in Eile. Jeder dieser Wege kostet Geld, Zeit, Kraft und Nerven. Die Ersparnisse wurden vollständig aufgebraucht. Die Verdienstausfälle sind hoch. Die Lebenshaltungskosten steigen weiter. Die psychische Belastung ist enorm.

Eine dramatische Wendung

Vor kurzem kam die nächste schwerwiegende Nachricht:

Der Krebs hat auch das Gehirn befallen. Der junge Vater ist inzwischen rechtsseitig gelähmt. Sein Zustand erforderte einen aufwendigen Krankentransport zurück nach Berlin. Ob die Krankenkasse die Kosten übernimmt, ist unklar.

Die bisherige Ein-Zimmer-Wohnung ist nicht mehr bewohnbar für ihn. Sie können dorthin nicht zurück. Nun wird dringend eine Palliativstation in Berlin gesucht, ein Platz, an dem Pflege, Behandlung und Würde gewährleistet sind. Doch solche Plätze sind rar, und die Wartezeiten sind lang.

Eine Familie, die zusammenbleiben will

Das wichtigste Ziel ist, den Vater näher an seine Familie zu bringen. Die Wege für Besuche sollen kürzer werden. Nähe, Berührung, gemeinsamer Alltag, all das ist in dieser Phase kein Luxus, sondern essenziell für die psychische Stabilität aller Beteiligten.

Die Familie kämpft nicht nur gegen die Krankheit, sondern auch gegen die Bürokratie, gegen die Kosten, gegen die Übermacht des Alltags.

Hinzu kommt der Herzenswunsch, die Mutter aus Peru nach Deutschland zu holen, damit sie ihren Sohn nach vielen Jahren noch einmal sehen kann. Die emotionale Unterstützung wäre wertvoll, doch auch das verursacht erhebliche Kosten.

Ein Zuhause zum Kämpfen und für den bestmöglichen Weg nach vorne.

Wenn der Gesundheitszustand es zulässt, soll der junge Vater perspektivisch nach Hause geholt werden. Dafür benötigt die Familie:

For months, this family has been fighting for health, hope, and simply survival. They are doing everything within their power, yet the burden they are facing is unimaginable.

A life between hospitals, fear, and overwhelming responsibility

Treatment has taken place primarily at the University Hospital in Tübingen. For the family, this has meant endless trips between Berlin and Tübingen — always with the baby in tow, always worried, always in a hurry. Every journey costs money, time, strength, and nerves. Their savings have been completely exhausted. The income losses are significant. The cost of living continues to rise. The psychological strain is immense.

A dramatic turn

Recently, another devastating piece of news arrived:

The cancer has now spread to the brain. The young father is currently paralyzed on his right side. His condition required a complex medical transport back to Berlin. Whether the health insurance will cover the cost remains uncertain.

Their previous one-room apartment is no longer suitable for him. They cannot return there. The family is now urgently searching for a palliative care facility in Berlin — a place where care, treatment, and dignity can be guaranteed. But such places are scarce, and waiting lists are long.

A family determined to stay together

Their most important goal is to keep the father close to his family. Shorter distances for visits, closeness, touch, shared moments — none of this is a luxury in this situation. It is essential for everyone’s emotional stability.

The family is fighting not only against the illness, but also against bureaucracy, financial pressure, and the overwhelming weight of everyday life.

They also wish to bring the father’s mother from Peru to Germany so she can see her son again after many years. Her emotional support would mean the world — but this, too, comes at a high cost.

EEn septiembre de 2024 nació la pequeña Liana, una bebé hermosa y muy esperada que llenó de alegría a sus jóvenes padres. Pero solo unas semanas después, en noviembre de 2024, un diagnóstico cambió sus vidas por completo: condrosarcoma desdiferenciado G3.

Un tumor maligno y agresivo que desde entonces amenaza la vida del joven padre y que sumió a la familia en una situación de crisis existencial de un día para otro.

Desde hace meses, esta familia lucha por la salud, la esperanza y, simplemente, por sobrevivir. Hacen todo lo que está en sus manos, pero la carga que soportan es inimaginable.

Una vida entre hospitales, miedo y una gran responsabilidad

El tratamiento se ha llevado a cabo principalmente en el Hospital Universitario de Tübingen. Para la familia, esto ha significado interminables viajes entre Berlín y Tübingen —siempre con el bebé, siempre con preocupación, siempre con prisa—. Cada viaje cuesta dinero, tiempo, energía y nervios. Sus ahorros se han agotado por completo. Las pérdidas de ingresos son elevadas. El costo de vida sigue aumentando. La carga emocional es enorme.

Pero estos lugares son escasos y las listas de espera muy largas.

Una familia que quiere permanecer unida
