Hallo zusammen,

wir sind Michael und Antje, die Eltern unserer Tochter Alexa.

Alexa ist 15 Jahre alt und schwerstbehindert (Pflegegrad 5).

Vor drei Jahren sind wir in ein Haus gezogen, um ihr die bestmögliche Versorgung und Pflege zu ermöglichen. Im Erdgeschoss haben wir einen eigenen Bereich für Alexa geschaffen, damit genug Platz für sie, ihre Hilfsmittel und das Pflegepersonal vorhanden ist.

Doch es gibt ein großes Problem:

Unser Haus ist aktuell nicht mit einer geeigneten Rampe ausgestattet.

Besonders in Notfällen wird das zu einer enormen Belastung. Wenn der Rettungsdienst kommen muss, haben die Einsatzkräfte große Schwierigkeiten, Alexa sicher mit der Trage aus dem Haus zu transportieren, da sie mit der Trage nicht richtig ins Haus gelangen können.

Auch der Alltag wird dadurch stark erschwert.

Alexa kann nur selten die Schule besuchen, weil die Treppe mit dem Rollstuhl kaum zu bewältigen ist. Zusätzlich macht ihr wechselnder Gesundheitszustand vieles noch schwieriger.

Deshalb möchten wir eine feste Rampe bauen lassen, damit Alexa sicherer transportiert werden kann und ihr Alltag ein kleines Stück leichter wird.

Leider übersteigen die Kosten für den Bau unsere finanziellen Möglichkeiten.

Darum bitten wir euch von Herzen um Unterstützung.

Wer ist Alexa?

Alexa ist ein freundliches und tapferes Mädchen im Alter von 15 Jahren, das trotz vieler gesundheitlicher Herausforderungen jeden Tag kämpft.

Diagnosen:

Peri-/postpartale Asphyxie mit Stammganglieninfarkt

Psychomotorische Entwicklungsstörung

Teilweise spastische und teilweise hypotone Tetraparese (armbetont)

Dyskinetische Cerebralparese

Hirnatrophie

Symptomatische Epilepsie mit komplex-fokalen Anfällen

Altersgerechte BERA-Schwellen beidseits

Totalatelektase der linken Lunge mit Mediastinalverlagerung nach links (08/2020)

Versorgung mit Gastrotube seit 2019, zuvor PEG-Versorgung seit ca. 2012

Beidseitige Hüftdysplasie

Korrektur der thorakolumbalen Skoliose mit wachsendem MAGEC-System (06/2018) und mittlerweile wurde Alexa operiert und die Wirbelsäule versteift.

Wofür wird das Geld verwendet?

Die Spenden werden vollständig für den Bau der Rampe und die Kosten der Baufirma verwendet.

Jede Unterstützung hilft uns dabei, Alexa mehr Sicherheit, bessere Erreichbarkeit im Notfall und ein Stück mehr Teilhabe am Alltag zu ermöglichen.

Hello everyone,

we are Michael and Antje, the parents of our daughter Alexa.

Alexa is 15 years old and severely disabled (care level 5).

Three years ago, we moved into a house to provide her with the best possible care and support. On the ground floor, we created a dedicated area for Alexa so there would be enough space for her, her medical equipment, and the caregiving staff.

However, there is one major problem:

Our house currently does not have a suitable wheelchair ramp.

Especially in emergencies, this becomes an enormous challenge. When emergency services need to come, it is very difficult for the paramedics to safely transport Alexa out of the house on a stretcher because they cannot properly access the house with it.

Daily life is also made much harder because of this.

Alexa can only rarely attend school because the stairs are extremely difficult to manage with a wheelchair. In addition, her changing health condition makes many things even more challenging.

That is why we would like to have a permanent ramp built so Alexa can be transported more safely and everyday life can become a little easier for her.

Unfortunately, the costs of building the ramp exceed our financial means. Therefore, we are asking for your heartfelt support.

Who is Alexa?

Alexa is a kind and brave 15-year-old girl who fights every day despite many serious health challenges.

Diagnoses:

Peri-/postnatal asphyxia with basal ganglia infarction

Psychomotor developmental disorder

Partially spastic and partially hypotonic tetraparesis (predominantly affecting the arms)

Dyskinetic cerebral palsy

Brain atrophy

Symptomatic epilepsy with complex focal seizures

Age-appropriate BERA thresholds on both sides

Total atelectasis of the left lung with mediastinal shift to the left (08/2020)

Gastrostomy tube since 2019, previously PEG tube feeding since approximately 2012

Bilateral hip dysplasia

Correction of thoracolumbar scoliosis with a growing MAGEC system (06/2018); Alexa has since undergone surgery and her spine has been fused.

What will the money be used for?

The donations will be used entirely for the construction of the ramp and the costs of the construction company.

Every contribution helps us provide Alexa with more safety, better accessibility in emergencies, and a greater chance to participate in everyday life.
