I am Jacqui, the extremely proud Director of Stepping Stone North Clubhouse - a community not for profit, mental health organisation supporting members with their goals of reducing isolation, returning to the worlds of friendship, employment, education, stable housing and are dedicated to rebuilding their lives. We are part of Clubhouse International which is a global movement.

So, hiking is probably the last thing you would find me doing. ️

I get out of breath just walking up stairs. But I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and prove to myself I can do this. Still not 100% convinced I will get through the 3 day hike but just gonna take one stepping stone at a time!

I have the support of Clubhouse and hopefully you will get behind me too and support my fundraising efforts! All money raised goes directly to Stepping Stone North - we are a small (but bloody mighty) community and growing every day.

The crew I am embarking on this adventure with are my DG4L posse. 'Dancing Girls 4 Life' are a group of gals I met at dancing class way back in the day in primary school and we have danced, cried and partied through life together ever since. It will be incredible to share this experience with them. We have been talking about getting matching tattoos for YEARS but to my dismay a few in the group keep wussing out. Maybe this adventure will be the turning point.
