Hiking for Hope – Scafell Pike Challenge for Guru Nanak Aid

Hello friends, family, and compassionate supporters!

On 12 July 2025, our passionate team of hikers will climb Scafell Pike, England’s highest peak, to raise £5,000 for Guru Nanak Aid, a Sikh charity dedicated to supporting elderly and marginalized Sikh families in Punjab and beyond.

Why we’re doing this

• Guru Nanak Aid has been serving the Panth for over 16 years, ensuring vulnerable elders receive dignity, compassion, and practical support.

• They provide monthly pensions, emergency relief, medical, educational, and housing support—offering a lifeline to those who have endured extreme hardship.

• This charity embodies the spirit of seva (selfless service), helping families and elders rebuild their lives with dignity.

Our mission

By summiting Scafell Pike, we honor the values taught by Guru Nanak Dev Ji: compassion, service, and human dignity. Each step we take is a pledge of support to those who depend on Guru Nanak Aid’s vital programs.
