Maria Madero is a beloved member of the Highland Park, Glassell Park, and Eagle Rock communities. Known for her beautiful singing voice at St. Bernard’s Church and her joyful spirit, Maria has spent her life spreading love, music, and faith.

A devoted mother of three and second mom to many, Maria made every day special—whether it was a trip to the beach, the pool, or singing and dancing with her family.

Last year, Maria was diagnosed with cancer and later suffered a cardiac arrest that left her body weak but her faith unshaken. Now battling stage 4 cancer, she continues to fight with incredible courage—smiling, praying, and inspiring everyone around her.
