Hello! Thank you for stopping by to check out our GoFundMe page for St. Jude! My name is Rohan, and I run a game development club at my high school, and as fun as the development of RocketStarz was, we are hoping to make a difference with our work. That is why we have decided to direct all the proceeds made from RocketStarz to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
St. Jude specializes in researching cures for cancer and other life-threatening diseases and viruses that can impact a child. St. Jude is a Non-profit meaning the parents never have to pay medical bills for their children’s treatment and all they need to worry about is supporting their child through cancer treatment. The research done at St. Jude has been extremely effective in eradicating childhood cancer, as St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate of cancer from 20% to over 80% since its founding in 1962. The groundbreaking research conducted at St Jude is bringing us closer to that perfect world where millions of children will no longer have their lives ruined by the tragedy of cancer, and where no parent has to watch their child suffer from crippling diseases.
With the current situation of Covid-19, it is essential that we ensure that other fields of medical research are well funded. By purchasing our game RocketStarz you not only receive a pretty EPIC game, but you also help raise money for a very important cause. When prompted, input the email address that you would prefer us to use to contact you and send you a link to the game.
After your donation is over, please wait for GoFundMe to register your purchase, and we will send you a link to the Google Drive page containing both the game RocketStarz and the custom soundtrack created by Akil.
The link to the Google Drive page with the game and OST, with a total of 10 tracks, will be sent to your email, along with an accompanying message. The email has the subject: A Thank You Message From Rohan.
