For over a decade, Minecraft plugin developer Maximuspayne has worked tirelessly, using almost all of his free time to develop a completely unique passion project: a highly complex, detailed, and player-customizable multiplayer WW2 naval combat simulator entirely contained within the confines of Minecraft's limited game engine.

Over the years, the project has garnered attention from naval history buffs and simulator junkies alike, and has personally captivated my and many of my nerdy peers' attentions since childhood.

Sadly, it came as a surprise to much of the community when on Tuesday, September 24th 2024, Maximuspayne announced the closure of the server and the stoppage of the plugin development until further notice, due to personal financial pressure and lack of motivation.

The community is rightfully crushed, as many of us have played for 10+ years, and some have made lifelong friends from across the world simply from beloging to the community he created.

I am creating this gofundme to hopefully gather some funding to continue paying for the required equipment to host the gameplay server, thereby taking the burden of cost off Maximuspayne's shoulders.

A dedicated server box with the processing power to host this complex of a project can cost anywhere from $55 to $200 USD every month. Your generous donation will go directly towards hosting costs. If just 10 people donate $5.50 USD each month, we can continue to enjoy this unique gameplay and community experience for months and hopefully years to come.
