This time I'm running the London Marathon for a good reason. I'm hoping to raise funds for a project in Nepal: a High Altitude Training Camp in Jumla.
Nepal is a country with a lot of potential, also in sports. Many athletes are talented and motivated but unfortunately lack the necessary resources and support. Jumla is a perfect place for high altitude training but is situated in a remote part of Nepal, so runners cannot afford even the most basic food and hostels. Remote means expensive in Nepal.
Nepal Run UK, a British-Nepalese non-profit community, has started a campaign to raise money to build this camp. That way, athletes can train independently and without mental and financial stress.
I'll run the London Marathon on April 26th 2026 in support of these athletes who are less fortunate than I am. Even a small donation can make a big difference.
Thank you for your support.
