Hi, my name is Rowan, I'm 16 years old, live in St Albans and go to St Albans School.

I enjoy playing lots of sports such as cricket, rugby and running.

I am setting myself a challenge to run 85 km, the equivilent of just over two marathons, every week for a month to raise money for St Albans Mencap Charity.

St Albans Mencap Charity is a charity based in St Albans which helps children and adults with learning difficulties feel respected, heard and confident in their lives.

I will distribute the kilometers differently throughout each week to avoid injuries.

My challenge started on the 5th of January, and as of the 9th of January, I have run 54.73 km out of the 85 km for the first week.
