HI IT'S US AGAIN.....HELP!......GUESS WHO'S BACK!?

Good day, everyone,
Please read to end.
This is Tracey-ann, the founder of Yorkys Gym SW17. I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for help. We have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise the extra funds needed to fix the gym's roof. As many of you are aware, we've had recurring issues with the roof, seemingly every three years or even more frequently. Some of you have asked if it's the landlord's responsibility, but unfortunately, we have a whole lease and are liable for the maintenance of the interior and exterior, including the roof.
Ideally the building needs a brand-new roof and gutter system costing over £30k.
As a family business, we've considered handing the keys back to the landlord due to all these issues. Last year was especially challenging for us both personal and business. I myself suffered a major health scare but I am all good now so giving thanks for that.
Last year was an incredibly challenging period for our family business and on a personal level as well. As some of you may already know, I had a major health scare, but I am delighted to inform you that I have fully recovered and am grateful for my health.
Given the difficulties we faced, I made the difficult decision to close Yorkys Gym. However, I am pleased to share that Taijon, whom many of you already know, stepped up and decided to keep things running. You might not be aware, but Taijon sacrificed his career five years ago to help me run Yorkys Gym. He has dedicated so much of his time and resources, and seeing the positive impact YG has on others has made it all worthwhile. The difference it makes in people's lives is truly remarkable.
In even better news, I am thrilled to announce that Aaron, Taijon's younger brother, has decided to return and contribute his efforts to Yorkys Gym. Many of the old members and visitors will remember Aaron from back in the days when he was a vital part of the business/community. He took some time off to focus on his children and his work in construction, but now he is back and ready to make a difference.
I am beyond proud to see both my sons, Taijon and Aaron, teaming up to keep Yorkys Gym thriving. As of the beginning of this year, Yorkys Gym is now owned and operated by both Taijon and Aaron.
We are immensely grateful for all the support you've shown us over the years, and we look forward to continuing this journey together with you all.
We're asking for your help. We need to get the roof and guttering sorted, and we're currently £3500 short. I often joke that I should have learned roofing, but I'm afraid of heights! Let me share a distressing story from 2017. Just after we nearly lost the gym, the leaks were so severe that the upstairs was flooded. We found a family business with good reviews to repair the roof. They took before and after pictures, and the after pictures looked fantastic. The entire roof seemed to be repaired. Since the rainy season was not for a while, we didn't notice any issues immediately. But when it finally rained, the water came pouring in again. We tried to contact the company, but they had vanished. We later discovered that they had scammed us. A friend of ours used a drone to inspect the roof, and to our horror, over three-quarters of the roof was not repaired. They had taken pictures of the completed work and then removed most of the repairs. We were scammed out of over £7k.
I'm writing this next bit from the bottom of my heart. I hope you all know how much you mean to me. Yes, some of you might have heard me say that I've had enough and thought about letting it go. But truth be told, I just can't seem to let go. I can't give up; it would be like giving up on family. And now that both my sons want to try and carry on my vision, it has touched my heart so much and I am such a proud mom.
Recently, I mentioned to a few members and visitors that I was considering launching a GoFundMe campaign. To my delight, the response was incredibly supportive, and it truly warmed my heart. However, as with anything, there came some negativity, and I was basically accused of begging for money, along with some not-so-nice words.
Despite this, I am determined to move forward with the campaign and make a positive impact. I am reaching out to ask for any help you can provide. Even if you can't donate money yourself, please share this GoFundMe campaign with your network and social pages/platforms. Your support means the world to us, and together, we can make a difference.
Thank you so much for your understanding and kindness.
Please help us in any way you!
