Back Story
On December 7th, 2020, Hunter and Paisley tragically lost their wife and mother Cheyenne. Hunter and Cheyenne were high school sweethearts and moved to Virginia when Hunter joined the Air Force in 2018. In July 2020 when Paisley was just over 1 month old, Hunter deployed to the Middle East and spent time in Syria, Afganistan, and Kuwait before returning early following the tragic loss of his wife. At only 21 years old, Hunter is now a single father with a 7-month-old baby girl.
In the midst of trying to cope with the loss of his wife, Hunter must figure out how to raise his daughter on his own. In addition to fulfilling his typical responsibilities of working to pay bills and supporting the household, he must also feed, change, bathe, comfort, and raise an infant. Considering the enormity of his responsibility after spending only a month with his baby before deploying, we are asking for monetary donations to give him hand.
Where Donations Will Go
Money raised will go toward paying for formula, baby food, clothing, diapers, child care, and any other essential items needed to raise a baby. Before putting this page together, we ran the idea by Hunter to make sure he was comfortable with it. He reluctantly agreed but stressed that every dime raised will be used to support his daughter. Funds could also help to support school expenses or other future activities to ensure Paisley has a fulfilling childhood despite not having a mother.
How You Can Help
Hunter is a man who epitomizes resilience and selflessness; he would do whatever necessary to make sure his daughter is healthy and raised in a loving and supportive environment. They have both been through more in their short lives than most of us will experience in a lifetime. We know that money may be tight during the holiday season and that the pandemic has levied additional hardships on many. If you are able, please consider giving a donation on this page - any amount is appreciated. Please also leave a message of support for Hunter and Paisley and share this page link on your social media accounts. These small gestures will show that they are not alone and have our support now and forever. If you can’t donate money but wish to help in other ways by donating formula or other baby items, please email [email redacted]. Thank you!
