HHK Carriage Driving Program

In 2021 Equine Therapy, Inc. (a.k.a. Healing Horses Kauai) began a large expansion project to add a therapeutic driving program to serve clients who use wheelchairs or cannot mount to ride. First, we've cleared rubbish from the land and purchased a carriage and a team of draft horses. Next, we must patch a bridge, finish the cleaning, and build a larger (130x260) carriage-friendly area. The target for completion is October 2022 - - so we can begin driving lessons in November.
Bridge Patch ($TBD): multiple 3' x 20' culvert pipes, fill, and metal plates
Finishing the Clearing ($15,000): forestry grinder, excavator, and bulldozer work
Arena ($12,000): 240 60lb bags of Quikrete, Weatherables 48 in. H x 640 ft. L 3-Rail White Vinyl Complete Ranch Rail Fence Project Pack; Weatherables 48 in. H x 320 ft. L 3-Rail White Vinyl Complete Ranch Rail Fence Project Pack; 4- tubular metal gates
