The Marsh Family

Don Marsh passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 after being diagnosed with two aggressive forms of cancer in December.  Don is survived by his wife of 22 years, Abi, and their six beautiful children — Isabella (20), Julia (18), Sophia (15), Josiah (13), and twins Micah and Amelia (10).

Don and Abi have amazing faith and have raised their children to love the Lord. They take comfort in knowing Don is with Jesus now and they will surely get to see him again. 

With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also brings a financial burden. Don was an exceptionally hard worker and his passing leaves behind the family that he worked so very hard to support each and every day. Along with that, he was working on rehabbing the house they recently purchased. The funds raised will help out tremendously, while Abi tries to work out the intricate details of day to day life without Don, support and care for their children and make their house a home — it currently needs an HVAC system, a new roof, flooring, countertops, sinks and many other improvements.

Moving forward, after the rush of support is over... the long term needs of the Marsh family will continue. This GoFundMe campaign is a short term solution so in the spirit of James 1:27, which says "to look after orphans and widows...", we are working to build a team of friends, family and new friends who can continue to meet their needs in the months and years to come, just as we would for a long term missionary. In this case, Abi is our "missionary" and her mission work to raise her children will be supported, in part, by this team.
