Flag Retirement Box Eagle Scout Project

Hello, My name is Alex Seidl and I am a Life rank Scout looking to reach Eagle Scout. In order to attain the rank of Eagle Scout I have the honor of performing an Eagle project, which I must raise funds for. If you donate to this GoFundMe, you donate towards the creation of a flag retirement box in Wedgefield, Fla. where anyone can place their U.S. flags that are no longer fit for service.

The need is urgent as the deadline for my completion of all requirements for Eagle Scout rank is March 19th 2024 and my county schools spring break falls before that which will impact labor available for the project.

The funds donated will go to buying the supplies needed to build a box including the wood, paint, wheels, and rope. I hope you donate some money as this will help create a place for those who fly the U.S. colors to send them once they are no longer fit for service so that they may reverently be disposed of.
