Mozambique is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis caused by widespread flooding following prolonged and intense rainfall. Rivers have overflowed, homes and farmland have been destroyed, and entire communities have been displaced with little warning.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been affected across the country. Families are without shelter, clean drinking water is scarce, and access to food and medical care has been severely disrupted. Children, the elderly, and other vulnerable people are especially at risk from disease, hunger, and exposure.
This fundraiser has been created to provide urgent flood relief for affected communities in Mozambique.
All funds raised will be used to support:
* Emergency food and clean drinking water
* Temporary shelter and essential supplies
* Medical assistance and hygiene items
* Support for families who have lost homes, crops, and livelihoods
This appeal is rooted in solidarity with the people of Mozambique and in the enduring values of unity, dignity, and collective responsibility — often captured in the words:
