My name is Marianna Stevens. My husband is Jesse Stevens, and we have soon-to-be one year old, Mazzy Stevens. Our little family is facing a heartbreaking situation. Recently, my baby daughter and I became very sick, and after weeks of searching for answers, we discovered the cause: toxic mold inside our home.

Testing confirmed dangerously high levels of Chaetomium, one of the most harmful molds, especially in our baby’s nursery, the bathroom, and the kitchen. This type of mold doesn’t just grow on surfaces; it thrives deep inside the walls and insulation. To make our home safe again, entire sections will need to be torn out, replaced, and rebuilt.

Unfortunately, our insurance will not cover any of the costs. The burden of this repair falls entirely on us, and it is far more than we can handle alone.

This house is not just four walls, it is the heart of our family. It’s the home I poured my heart and soul into when I was only 20. It’s the home my husband carried me into on our wedding night. It’s the home we brought our daughter Mazzy into for the very first time after she was born. Every memory, every milestone, every piece of our family story lives here.

We cannot imagine starting over, but we also cannot live here until it is safe. We are humbly asking for help to restore our home and give our baby girl the safe, healthy environment she deserves.
