My name is Mia and my dad is Tom. Recently we had a terrifying experience when my dad had an aneurysm (a bleed on the brain) and because of this he can no longer work and because of his age he gets barely any financial help from the government. His home and belongings are now at risk of being seized because he can no longer pay his debts. This home is where I grew up. It’s not big, grand or even warm but it’s our home. My grandparents were kind enough to help him pay the deposit way back in 2005 to buy it and if we lost our home it would be insult to their memory.. I myself am also disabled and can’t help much at all apart from a few pounds. The first few bailiff notes have started to arrive and they want £508 or else they’ll start removing his possessions (which are not many but what he does have are deeply sentimental. We never buy new so most of our furniture are hand me downs) If you could be kind enough to help us you will forever be in my heart, please know this was a last resort for me but I don’t know what else to do..
