This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever needed to do, and I hope that it resonates with anyone this reaches. For anyone that may already know or have an idea, my sister Jessica has been going through a really rough family court situation with her sweet little girl Alessia, since Dec 2024. This has indefinitely traumatized and devastated my sister (my niece Jenna, and our family) to her core, turning her whole world upside down. Our family has been overwhelmed with great anxiety and sadness all around. While I am not at liberty to disclose details, anyone that knows Jess knows what a dedicated, loving, protective, nurturing, involved, fun mother she is. Her children have always been her center, her first priority, her everything. Though it’s been a great struggle for my sister and Jenna (Alessia’s big sister, and our family), we are all holding on to our faith that God and our legal council will see us through— but everything comes with a price. So here we are, 9 months later, drowning in legal fees. It’s said, “A mother’s love is everything, it knows no boundaries, no conditions, and is the purest form of love.” Jess will not give up, we will not give up, but at this expense, we must wear our hearts on our sleeves. So with our most vulnerable gratitude, we deeply appreciate your support in this extremely troubling time.
